1960 Buick Electra 225 "Riviera"

HARD TO FIND & $4K OFF!! - 1960 Buick Electra 225 "Riviera" HARDTOP, 401 Nailhead V8 with Turbine Drive Auto transmission and the odometer showing 44,799 (Turned over, TMU) and was a CALIFORNIA CAR for all of it's life until we purchased it. Finished in it's stunning orignal color "Magic-Mirror Sable Black" with a black interior and lots of exterior stainless steel this car had all the bling. These cars were ahead of their time with design & styling!! This is a highly optioined car including working power windows, power seat, working factory AM Radio and a cool working speed minder feature just to name a few. This Buick has an awesome powertrain providing 325 hp with 445 lbs.ft torque and has the way cool "MIRROR-MAGIC" speedometer that allows you to see the speedometer from different angles!! There were 3 models offered in 1960 starting with the LeSabre, then the Invicta and the top of the line was the "Electra" which in itself had 3 trim levels.... the "Electra", "Electra 225" and the top of the line was the "Electra 225 Riviera" which is what this model is. The difference being some upgraded interior trim options such as the only model to receive the "Brisbane cloth trimmed with double weight broadcloth interior" (unfortunately the seats have been redone over the years to just vinyl but the doors still retain factory material!). Simply put, these cars just made a statement. The Electra retains most of its ordinality with possible some paint updating over the years but mostly original. Most options on this car are in working order but some may be inoperable due to the age of this vehicle. Mechanically it has had an engine bay restoration engine being professionally sandblasted and repainted to its correct factory colors, new hoses, belts, fuel pump, upper end gaskets, oil & filter etc and it runs like a charm.
