1962 Ford Galaxie 500

RUST FREE SOUTHERN CAR (TX) - 1962 Ford Galaxie "500XL" Convertible with the Factory Z Code 390 ci, mated to the Cruise-O-Matic auto transmission, working AC & believed to be 77,970 ORIGINAL Miles. This 500XL was built in Dallas TX on 04/04/62 and retains it's original "Corinthian White" exterior paint color (has an older driver quality repaint) and what appears to be mostly original Black Vinyl interior. The old saying applies here folks... "THEYR'E ONLY ORGINAL ONCE" (except repaint) and that is the case here. Of course there were a lot of "Galaxie 500's" made with a few being the "Sunliner Convertible" and a very few of them were the "500XL" optioned convertibles cars which were the "sport luxury" versions for Ford Motor Co. and this one is a Rust Free Southern Car since new, dry as a bone underneath and is about a solid as you will find. A GREAT driver quality car that will take you anywhere just as it is. The car does have some bumps and bruises as you would expect from being 60 years old but presents itself very nice. The top is in great shape (not new) and works just as it should. This car starts and runs just as it should and it drives & brakes as it should AND IT HAS FACTORY A/C and has great sounding dual exhaust!
