1961 Ford Galaxie

SURVIVER ALERT HERE!! 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible with the bulletproof 292 ci V8 and the famous Cruise-o-Matic transmission. It is finished in its original color - "Cambridge Blue" - (a nice driver quality repaint/minor resto has been done in the past) and it is still wearing it's original "Blue Morocco" vinyl interior . This one was built in the Los Angeles CA. plant in July of 1961 and appears to have spent many of its years being cared for and updated as needed to keep it in great driver quality condition as per the former owner whom had owned it for the last 40 years! The top is newer and works just as it should, the heater will burn you out, windows all crank as they should and doors shut as well as they did when it was new! Temp gauge works fine, speedometer works fine, gas gauge works but unsure of accuracy as have not driven it enough. It is solid as they come for an car of the 60's that has not been rotisserie restored and frankly your gonna want to drive this one, not keep it under a car cover all the time. Keep in mind it is not a new car, it has its blemishes & originality that comes with a car from 1961 but it is a sweet ride. I drove the car home when I purchased, over 1 & 1/2 hour drive at 65mph hwy speeds and no issues!
